Criminal Record Check

If you work or volunteer with us, you must have a Police Information Check - Vulnerable Sector (PIC-VS) performed. Only the VPD or RCMP can conduct one.

Instructions:

  1. Print off and fill out the VBMA Criminal Record Check form (PDF, 46 KB) (no alternatives will be accepted)
  2. Take it to the VPD or your local RCMP detachment (check with them for ID requirements and participating locations)
  3. Pay the $25 volunteer criminal record check fee and keep your receipt for reimbursement
  4. Mail your completed form and receipt (scans or copies accepted) to:
    Vancouver Minor Baseball Association
    2390 East 46th Avenue
    Vancouver BC V5S 1A2

VMBA will arrange for fee reimbursement. Criminal record checks are valid for three years. To ensure it's up to date, we'll keep your criminal record check info in our database. If you work in a profession that requires a current criminal record check, let us know. We evaluate this alternative on a case-by-case basis.

If you have any further questions, contact the president.
